Auto Repair in Auto Repair in Willits, CA

Willits, CA

The city of Willits, California, is located in the center of Mendocino County, along US 101 at the start of the region’s extensive redwood forests. Home to a population of less than 5,000 people, Willits covers 2.8 square miles of land in the Little Lake Valley.

The town was originally named Willitsville, after Hiram Willits arrived in 1857. The name then became Little Lake before it was changed again to Willits, all before incorporation in 1888. Today, an arch donated by the city of Reno, Nevada, stands in the town center, displaying the slogans “Gateway to the Redwoods” and “Heart of Mendocino County.” Willits hosts the annual Frontier Days & Rodeo, the oldest continuous rodeo and Independence Day celebration in California. The racehorse Seabiscuit is buried nearby.

The need for auto repairs cannot be avoided, and only the highest levels of knowledge and experience will keep vehicles performing at their best. The local auto repair specialists at Alliance Auto Service have served Willits since 2004 as the only AAA-approved repair facility in the area.
